At the back of the courtyard a small stage had been set up overnight. Large speakers rested on either side with a microphone resting center stage.
The only clue as to its purpose was a large sandwich board directly in front of it emblazoned with a logo declaring "Heavenly Wings" with a pair of stylized angel wings coming off each side of the name.
Below that in smaller wording "Debut Solo Concert in Rokugan, 10am, totally free + goodies."
Those in the know about Idol Activities or even Music might recognize the name as the new solo effort from the Centre of the former Idol Unit "Kitsunegari" or "Fox Hunt"

While not in-the-know, Kobushi did enjoy a good song or two. He wasn't particular about genre, either. So the idea of a debut solo concert in the school courtyard, completely free, intrigued him. While he doesn't recognize the name of the singer, he decides he can take a little time out of Club Day to listen. He could use a break, really.

Doji HoshikoMirumoto Noboru had been walking across the campus grounds, guitar over his shoulder as he tried to ignore most of the students harassing him to join their club for whatever reasons they could think of. That's when he caught the small crowd for the concert that had begun. A bit of curiosity filled him so he walked over to see what was going on even if he wasn't particularly familiar with the genre, himself.

As Noboru was trying to peek over the crowds, someone would tap on his shoulder. He'd see the little Crane standing there, her bass guitar on her back.
"Hey Noboru-kun! She bowed and smiled sweetly "are you well?"

Noboru turned then smiled as he saw who had tapped him on the shoulder. For whatever reason it wasn't as big as his usual smile but his hand went out to take hers, warmth growing as he looked upon the Doji.
"H-hai, I am," he offered shyly before leaning in to kiss her softly. "I'm sorry about this morning Hoshiko-chan. Club day is a bit... stressful for me."

Hoshiko nodded, understanding, as she took his hand and gave it a squeeze. "Maybe I can help make it better? Anything I can do? I mean..." she looked a little shy "i-it's a little too public for a...but a-ano...if it will make you feel happier?"

Noboru blushed brightly but then just took the Doji's hand. "Why don't we see what this concert is about instead? I mean..." He paused before glancing toward the stage, "I don't want to get too close because of the crowd but it doesn't hurt to look into different styles, you know?"

About 15 minutes before the impromptu concert was about to start, a few men in black shirts start to double check all the equipment. There's a sound test for the mic and a quick test of the impromptu lighting system from a fancy tablet.
Another sets up a table near the stage and starts to unload a few boxes of merchandise.

Nadeshiko wasn't far away, her own booth off to the side of the courtyard. It made it easy to wander over to the impromptu stage and even find her friends amongst the small gaggle of gathered students.
"Hinata-San, Daidoji-san~ It's so so good to see you guys again. I've not heard of the band before but according to Facescroll the lead singer used to be in another group before this."
