... Did she just imply I am her friend? ... Am I friends with an imperial? Is that allowed? The idea of it blew Koshiro's mind. Not knowing how to respond to that, he gives her a bow and stammers out a thank you, confusion evident in his voice. "Uh, th-thank you for your kindness, Otomo-sama."

"Hai~ of course. We have to realize that, sometimes, not everyone can easily be supported in life~" She beamed a huge grin that could blind people without proper protection from the brightness, "It's not fair that you not only have to work so hard, but also be judged for it." She huffed dramatically as she said that part, "So I can at least help with the judgment, - or at least make it quieter!"

Hinata smiled faintly, and nodded.
"Indeed. It is always nice to meet someone who understands."
She let out a quiet sigh.
"When I tried to stop a horse from running over one of the stable boys the only other people present laughed at me and recorded it. It is nice to know I will not have to go through that again."

"I can't promise to stop everything, but at the very least they will know that an Otomo cares to get involved. Just point me at them~!" She was still so happy, as she made her promises, "Besides, helping to catch a horse is great! I know if Mei ran away because I wasn't there, I'd be very sad!"

Somehow, Hinata could not imagine this girl ever being sad. She was going to have to take her word for it, though. Hinata gave a slight nod to Kobushi.
"Yes, a horse. Nobody knew how it got out, but apparently it has done it before. The stable boy theorized it knew how to open the gate."
She let out an amused 'hm'.
"An intelligent creature, if an unruly one."

Koshiro snaps out of it. "Oh, ah, sure, yes. All good. Yes. Good." Clearly still confused, but he tries not to think too hard about it further.
