Sesshu runs in, having overslept, and bows to his sensei of several years and new clubmates. He's been in the animal club for all his time here, and he's worried he may have missed the meeting; to see he hasn't is a relief, but also an embarrassment. "I humbly apologize for my tardiness. It is unbecoming in one who would compete for captainship."

As Sesshu entered Genji crossed his arms but smiled slightly. "Seems we have at least two candidates for club captainship. Would anyone else like to be the captain before I come up with some way to figure this out..."

"Awww, no confidence, huh?" He smiles, and rubs his head sheepishly. "Well, I WAS late, I guess. Sorry about that." Briefly, he looks around. How many people here were in the club with him last year?

Genji pondered a moment before nodding, "Alright. Here's what we'll do."
He motioned for everyone to get their belongings and follow him. "We're going to go out and attempt to befriend three different animals. The one who befriends the most animals will be club leader."
(Will roleplay this out, but otherwise it's three animal handling/awareness rolls. A bird, a hare, and finally a foal. TN20 for each. Whomever befriends the most will be captain. In case of a tie, we'll find one more animal and whomever rolls higher on the tiebreaker wins.)
(EDIT: Per GMs, Animal Ken will give +1k1 to the roll.)
