Tsuki took a step back from the table that had been set up, eyeing her handy work with a smile that belied her own inner satisfaction at the finished project. An assortment of flowers, arranged in so many differing ways, were set in a display for everyone to see as the approached. The message in them was rather simple in form, but a deeper look might convey more to those who had taken up the craft of Ikebana themselves. If nothing else though, it was certainly vibrant coloring's should earn a small bit of approval from anyone who enjoyed such things.
Just below the display of flowers was a banner whose lettering gave away the name of the club, just in case anyone was confused why an assortment of flowers were set upon a desk.

"Wonderful, as always Kakita-san." Umeko said as she walked in carrying two large plant pots that she placed on the ground near the table.
"Your skills never fail to impress me." She continued as she took a closer look at the arrangement, nodding to herself. "Thank you again for agreeing to do this, will you be heading to the Arts wings next for the Ikebana club?" The gardener glanced at the small girl with a warm smile as she continued setting up various displays for the gardening club.

Tsuki looked back to Umeko and nodded her head. "Hai, I will, but they should be fine without me for a little bit. Besides, the very gardens we use the flowers in come from places like these, or more personal ones. I like to remind myself that working in the dirt can birth beautiful things in time."
The young woman moved over to Umeko, helping her carry anything when needed or aided in placement of them. "Do you expect to have many students attending the club this year?"

The teacher hummed thoughtfully. "It's always hard to say." Umeko stretched her back, glancing out the large windows that made up the walls of the greenhouse. "The first gardening class hasn't been given yet, so I don't know if we have much interest for the subject yet. I did notice a young Sparrow who looked very interested in the open gardens the other day, perhaps he will join us?" She smiled back at the Crane.
"Not everyone is as generous with the subject as you are, Kakita-san." She said with amusement, obviously not bothered by the fact that some regarded her subject with disgust. "Many samurai consider it a peasant things, after all."

"I would hope not," Tsuki looked to Umeko, a bit of surprise on her features, "Gardening has always been a valued art. All clans have an affection for it in some way. I know that the Crab have a love for rock gardens, and will certainly find a way to show it off in subtle moves."
She remembered that all to well on the one or two trips she had taken out the the Crab lands, either with her father or to visit Tetsuko when she was away to train.

Yoshinobu was a man of his word if nothing else - he had said he would entertain joining the gardening club when last he had spoken with Tsuki, so here was to see just what it had to offer. And if nothing else, it was a chance to observe some of the beautiful flowers the school had to offer. As he enters the greenhouse, he sees his friend alongside one of the sensei he had yet to meer, and offers the two women a bow.
"Konnichi-wa, Lady Kakita. I trust you have been well. And greetings to you as well, sensei. I do not believe I have attended one of your classes yet. I am Iweko Yoshinobu."

A cheerful Sparrow walks in, his eyes bright and a broad brimmed straw hat shading his eyes from the sun. This place was more like home. His brown hakama were carefully chosen to not show as much dirt as he knelt down and felt the soil slip through his fingers for the second time this week. Good for yams and the spirit. A goshi could let his spirit die surrounded by so many saigo.

Tsuki turned to the voice that called out her name, though she knew only one man who addressed her so. She smiled at the prince and bowed to her friend. "Prince Yoshinobu, It is a pleasure to see you again. I hope your first few days of school haven't been to busy," She says as she rose back up, "And welcome to the gardening club."

"Busy yes, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. They have been rather enjoyable, all in all. And yourself?"
The Prince nods to the young Sparrow as he enters, offering the boy a bow as well.

Umeko paused for a moment, smiling warmly at the two new arrivals. She offered the imperial an appropriate bow, before speaking. "Indeed, Iweko-sama. This one is Umeko-sensei, it is a pleasure to finally have the chance to meet you. And Suzume-san, I am happy to see you again. Would you two be interested in joining the gardening club, then?" The teacher leaned back against a table that showed various potted plants, from flowers to vegetables.
