After the events earlier in the day with the Boxing Club tryouts, Tetsuko eventually makes her way to her next stop. The Judo Club. Another one of her old clubs from the passed years, the Doji smiles to herself as she retrieves the signup documentations, spare pens, and other paraphernalia needed to get anyone interested signed up.
The booth is simple, almost spartan, with the exception of a sign with two stick figure men tangled together.

Either to Tetsuko's surprise or dismay, one can't be too sure which, the smallest Phoenix she'd probably ever seen came up to the booth with a smile on her face. Seeing the sign up document, Ryoko looked about for a pen but not before bowing to the much larger Doji girl.
"Ohayo, Crane-sama! Is this where we sign up for the judo team?"

Ichiro had returned to the dojo from looking at the build fighter club and was excited to see the judo club banner and was delighted to see tetsuko was behind this one as well.
He gives the girl a wide smile "you're a busty bee aren't you Doji-san? First the boxing club and now starting up the judo club. Very exciting day.

Tetsuko nods to Ryoko. "Hai, it is." She slides one of the pens forward. "Have you ever practiced Judo before, Asako-san? Not that it matters either way." She smiles pleasantly.
As the lion approaches, Tetsuko gives him his own grin, waving him over. "Fancy seeing you here as well, Akodo-san. And I wouldn't really say that..." She looks herself up and down. "I'm not really wearing any yellow and black, am I?"

"Is it not said in the beginner's mind, there are many possibilities but in the expert's there are few?"
She looked over to the unfamiliar Lion and bowed to him with a smile, while adding in. "My otou-san used to be the sponsor of the wrestling team here and my okaa-san used to be its captain. They both taught me judo as a means to defend myself."

Ichiro bowed back to the Phoenix girl "this one is Akodo Ichiro, third year bushi."
He looked back to tetsuko and chuckled "Well then I suppose my statement is at least half true still!"

Tetsuko begins to giggle, but her giggle quickly devolves into full on laughter. "Just keep it up, Toshimoko-san, and you'll make me regret giving you that black eye. Or give you another, I can't decide." She offers a playful wink before returning her attention to Ryoko.
"Now, I don't know if that's been said or not, but they are as true of words as I have heard. And it sounds like you've the pedigree to boot! Well, if you will have us, welcome to the team!"

Ryoko almost immediately ran over to Ichiro at the mention of a black eye, the little Asako getting as close as decorum would permit without actually touching the Akodo.
"Oh, Kami, a black eye? Why would you do that to him, Crane-sama?"
She got up on her tippy toes, carefully inspecting Ichiro with a worried look. "And this one is Asako Ryoko. This is my first year after my gempukku and I'm looking forward to competing with all of you!"

Ichiro is confused unaware of his mistake but whatever he said seemed to be working so he played it off casually grinning to the the doji "I'm not so easy a target when I have my eyes on you Doji-san."

Miya Asurito also approaches the booth and waves. "Hello, there! Tets chan! Ichiro san!" She quickly looks for some mons on the other girl. "Asako san!" Then she bows. "I'll grapple the opportunity to sign up immediately." She says right after and does that.
Once done with the paper work she looks at her watch. There is time for some small talk. "How is everyone?"
