Asurito nods in agreement to the Akodo's words. "Why don't you go for it, Ichiro san? I have trained with you and I can say that you will be an inspiring figurehead." She suggests.

He returned the bow to the Crane, trying to not notice that she was yummy.
"Thank you, Doji-san. As a newcomer to the school, I appreciate your brief update."
He smiled at the friendly Akodo. "How do I look?" He replied to him in a friendly tone.
"Isn't it too early for you to miss something, Spider-san?" He responded to the Kaizen. "But worry not, you are not late."
He listens to the exchange between the Crane and the Badger and looks as the Doji tries to put things in order.
"Are you sure about that Doji-san? You seem cut for the job." He commented to her.
"Well it seems we have two candidates only. What's wrong with the rest, have you all claimed captainship in some other club?"
He had no idea why the Akodo said what he did.
"You are correct Akodo-san, but I am not sure why you felt that this was something that needed to be said."

Ichiro shrugged "when she walked up she said she doesn't fight on teams, I assumed being captain would entail fighting on the team. Figured I'd point it out to her before she took the job."
((Ooc is going for captain of kendo club but tourney for said captainship looks like it will take a bit.))
