To be her own person... Is it ever something that she had thought she could be? She was always compared to others, and that had grown somewhat comfortable to her

"Oh, I'm sure you'll find one," she says, taking note of the blush. Is she…? No, you're imagining things. "Until then, you will need to simply learn, grow. It won't be easy to tell. My path to her was fraught with perils and pitfalls."
She reaches out a hand, gentle and reassuring. "Until then, you must simply prepare for them."

She takes the hand with a smile, coming in a little closer "Before I knew who you were I had thought about trying to seduce you" she admits

She laughs. It's a little uncomfortable, but still a laugh. The hand slips away, but not quickly. "Flatterer. I'm a little too old to be drawing the eye of girls your age."

"Oh, I don't think so" she smiles, settling back a reasonable distanc,e to as not make the other woman uncomfortable "Fuyuko-sensei is a very lucky woman, and I am shot down again" she says such with a little levity

"I swear, there must be something the water of the school this year," she says. She makes a few sounds of comedic disapproval. "I won't involve myself with a student in that manner, even if I wasn't already happily spoken for."
"But I am willing to be a friend. I have a few students who already call me such. One more won't hurt."

She smiles "I would not expect a student and a teacher to become involved in that manner, that bond is as sacred as the bond of Lady Benten. If we are to be friends then, Hisui-sensei, I would be delighted if you would call me Uetani"
