"The girl? Um... ten or eleven if I recall. Old enough to know what was happening. One of many reasons I feel lucky to have the guardians I do."

"Sounds like a lot of other people are the lucky ones... to have you," he tells her.

Momiko beams a smile at Yoshi, glasses slipping down her nose a bit as she looks up quickly, "You really think so? Thank you. I don't hear that as much as I'd like to, for various reasons I suppose. And that means I am lucky to have you, neh?"

"Well... if you feel that way... I won't argue," Yoshi says, blushing probably fiercely enough for even Mei to notice. "I'm... one of those "other people" I just metioned too, you know." Yes, he felt that luck had indeed smiled upon him, sending Momiko across his path by chance not once but twice.

"I figured," Momiko chuckled softly before turning back to her noodles. Main course finished, Mei spoke up.
"I apologize for no dessert; I rarely indulge in sweets myself. If you wish after dinner coffee or such though, you need but ask.. Otherwise I believe you said you two would be joining Takano on a... tour? I trust you know where you can and cannot go, Momiko."
"Hai," Momiko said with a nod before turning back to Yoshi, "Wanna go find sis? Or think she'll find us on her own?"

Otherwise I believe you said you two would be joining Takano on a... tour? I trust you know where you can and cannot go, Momiko." "Please, don't apologize; you've already been most generous," Yoshi says, standing and bowing to his hostess. "Thank you very much, for the meal and your company, Asahina-sama." He turns to Momiko with a smile of anticipation upon his face, having just been given explicit permission to be taken on the tour. "Wanna go find sis? Or think she'll find us on her own?" "She... found us well enough by herself the first time," Yoshi reasons. "Plus, I wouldn't want to interrupt her own meal or make her rush through it on my account. We can... go slower to start, if you think she'll be very disappointed for missing some of my reactions?" He expects the only new thing for Takano to enjoy on the tour would be his impressions of their home, expecting that she was familiar enough with the house itself already.

"Hai, that sounds like her. Still, she'll just have to live with it; Means I have more time to myself with you and less interruptions."
Momiko stood up in her yukata and put her napkin on the table, motioning for Yoshi to follow her out the door on the other side of the room.

Yoshi spares a glance at Mei for her reaction to Momiko wanting time with him to herself, expecting anything from ambivilance to a stern warning glare. He then takes a few moments to get all the way around the long table, eventually joining Momiko on her side of it in order to follow her out the door. Finally, he gives Mei another bow before departing, slightly exaggerated to accommodate her poor sight.

Mei's reaction definitely leans towards ambivalence, the older woman looking down at the large amount of noodles left on her plate and seeming to give a little sigh, not reacting to the bow in any outward way either.
Once Yoshi is out in the hall, Momiko smiles at him, "So; Any idea where you wanted to start?"

"Oh... I guess... whatever are your favorite places to be in the house?" he suggests, purely out of wanting to know what made Momiko happy. It actually doesn't occur to him in the least that one of her favorite places might be her own room, and going there now meant they'd be in it alone, without Takano in tow. If it had, he probably would've thought twice about making that proposition.
