These next instructions, Yoshi had a little difficulty with. He wouldn't wish to be publically rude to an Imperial, and his Bushido sensei, by simply turning and leaving any time he encountered her. He would definitely watch out for his friends, though. Considering these two points, he came up with a compromise. "Hinata-san," he says to her, "I will watch out for our friends as much as I can, but... if she does manage to get me alone... I think I should stay rather than depart. I'm not... anyone important to your plan; just on stand by... and if she's occupied with me, she won't be bothering anyone else." He still felt a little guilty for abandoning everyone at Katsumi's party two nights before, but that aside, he truly would willingly dive in front of Katsumi if it meant saving anyone else. "I... am not sure I can be a part of this, Hinata-san." "You don't have to do anything you don't want to, Momiko-san," he reassures her. |

Koshiro winces. "Uhmmm... are... are you sure you wanna do that, Hinata-san? I-I mean... don't get me wrong, Kami knows she likely deserves it, but... this all sounds a bit heavy... I mean, it... almost sounds like blackmail..." He shuffles a bit uncomfortably in his seat. "I just don't want to see you follow a path that turns you... into her... or rather what I imagine what she's like as I've never met her before, but you get the picture." Hinata shook her head. "I understand your concerns, Koshiro-san, but it is her or me. At least I am giving her a chance. I doubt she would do the same. Besides, the only blackmail is her own deeds. She dug her own grave." She then nodded to Momiko. "And I understand if you want no part in this. I realize it is asking a lot of you. Anyone opposed to this plan is free to leave, just...please be careful. Just because you are not part of the plan does not mean you are not a target. I have no doubt she will attempt to go after my family as well, and they are not even here." She turned her attention to Yoshi and frowned. "And that is a good point, Yoshi-san. One cannot just ignore an Imperial if they ask you to stay. Keep a wary mind, though. Trust nothing she says. This is why I want us all to stick as close together as possible until this is done. Fish swim in schools to avoid the sharks, we must do the same." |

Koshiro quietly nods. He looks to his cup noodles and ponders things quietly. "In that case... perhaps... it might be best if you stay wary of me too, Hinata-san... all of you..." He spins his chopsticks in his cup noodles. "It... might be best if I am no longer part of this group... and even then, stay wary of me..."

Hinata frowned at that, and looked at Koshiro concernedly.
"Why? You are still our friend, Koshiro-san. You need not participate in this if you are uncomfortable."

Koshiro looks up at Kobushi, then looks back down at his cup noodles. "I haven't told any of you this, but... there is something I wish to accomplish here in RHS more than anything. And... if Otomo-sensei knows about it and comes to me about it... I don't think I will be able to refuse."

Hinata frowned deeper, but nodded. The ronin boy was admitting to a fault to protect them, she could respect that.
"I...perhaps we should split up for now then, yes. She may not yet know we are friends, I do not think she has seen us in any context together."
She sighed, leaning forward again.
"Please do not think this means you are out of the group for good, though. Once this matter is settled, would you please rejoin us?"

Koshiro looks up at Hinata and mutely nods. He turns towards Kobushi. "To study, mainly. But also to recover and restore what my adopted mother lost in the lake many years ago. Her ship. It is not something I can allow anyone to hinder or interfere my efforts with." He stands and takes hold of his tray, then bows towards the group. "I... I hope everything goes well... Until then, please... be wary of me as well everyone..." With that, he takes up his tray and moves away to finish his lunch by his lonesome.
