Ichiro strides into the dojo just like every morning. He has his typical work out stuff on and his kendo equipment. He observes the rites of entering the dojo and sets his daisho on a rack nearby.
He begins some light stretching and warm up workouts.

Oh hey, it's that ronin kid again. Koshiro enters the dojo, this time more for some weapon practice rather than repairs to the dojo itself. Though you'd be forgiven for mistaking it as he enters the dojo with a sledgehammer on his shoulder.

Ichiro bowed to the ronin boy as he entered. "Morning Koshiro-san right? Have you had rice today?" He gave the boy the traditional greeting. Pausing his work out of long controlled strikes and poses meant to perfect form and build muscle endurance.

Koshiro turns towards the Lion and bows, lowering his sledgehammer as he does so. "Ah, good morning, Akodo-san. I have eaten, yes. Have you had rice today as well?"

Ichiro nods "Of course breakfast is the most important meal of the day!" he said intensely. "Are you planning to practice with that big ol hammer?"

"Hmm? Oh, ah, yes actually. I have a preference for heavy weapons. Good for building strength, helps as well with maintenance work if something needs to be demolished." Koshiro swings the sledgehammer around a bit before resting it across his shoulder once more. "My mom jokes that she used to swing an anchor around as a weapon. Can you believe that? A short woman swinging a heavy anchor around." He chuckles a bit. "To be fair, she is quite strong for her size."

Ichiro nods interested in what the boy was saying. "Wow an anchor really? That's pretty impressive. You gotta be pretty strong yourself to swing that thing around."

Koshiro shrugs. "I'm not much stronger than most others, really. My strength is a product of having been raised and worked in a construction crew. It's no different from training and exercising regularly. I'm sure you must be pretty good & strong with your own weapon of choice, judging by your physique."

"Aren't we all?" Koshiro chuckles. "If that'll be all, I'll just be over here practicing with my hammer. Unless you wish to spar? Though I doubt I will be of any match to you, Akodo-senpai." First year ronin going against a third year Lion? No duh he'd be outmatched by the Lion.
