Koshiro tilts his head, then shakes his head. "No, no. No need to impair yourself like that, Akodo-senpai. If you wish to spar, then it is best to spar at your best, neh? I'll use the practice tetsubo so no one accidentally gets hurt, you can use your kendo sword." He puts his sledgehammer down and goes to take a practice tetsubo. It had a wooden handle and a weighted padded covering, looking almost like a nerf bat. Well, a heavy nerf bat anyhoo. "How do you wish to do this, senpai?"

"Nonsense koshiro-san, it'll be fun. Trust me I get enough practice using my katana I always enjoy practicing and learning new forms of weapons." He says acquiring a practice tetsubo of his own.

Ichiro rushes in never one to be a thinker in a fight the weapon is heavy Ichiro's balance is off and his attacks are more awkward than usual. The small boy successfully parried all of Ichiro's attacks. there were some close calls but the boys tetsubo always just barely came up to meet Ichiro's A smile forms on Ichiro's face as the two duel. Koshiro just barely holds up his defense against the Lion's attacks. Yep, he will definitely get hit if he tried to drop his defense, it was definitely clear. Definitely. But unless he makes his own attacks, he would not be able to get points. With hesitation, he drops his defense and moves in to attack. ((Attack Stance Roll: 18 ; TN 15 to hit)) His hesitation proves to be his downfall as he finds himself unable to hit the Lion. |

Ichiro is starting to get used to this kind of fight, its different from katana fighting your blows are slower you have to anticipate your opponent a bit more. He strikes down but halfway turns it into a sweep and makes solid contact with Koshiro. ((attack stance: 32 orokos.com/roll/596069; tn: 20)) |

Ooof, that stung a bit. Koshiro winces as the practice tetsubo hit him solidly at his thigh, but nods in acknowledgement. "Point to you, senpai." He goes back to his side and readies himself, then tries a desperate full attack. ((Full Attack Stance Roll: 25 ; TN 5 to hit)) Perhaps the Lion was unprepared for the ronin boy's ferocity, but a hit manages to connect on the Lion's left shoulder. Koshiro's gambit might have worked, but he was leaving himself wide open for the Lion's next attack. |
