"She isn't willing to speak out and say there isn't a blood feud. Though after almost three years and numberous deaths, I suppose I can't blame her. I mean, I'm still extremely angry to find out my sister died over a lie so I can only imagine how others might respond, especially if the one who instigated this isn't in hand. Some may also consider the Dragon cowards for starting a blood feud then saying there isn't one to back out of it."
"Though I imagine Kakita Tsuki-san won't be to pleased to hear that Mirumoto-sensei won't be speaking out."

"It isn't even tradition, though. If anything, it's someone mocking one of our oldest traditions."
He sighed a little then just shook his head. "I suppose I should look more into what happened that caused Mirumoto Okoro to duel each of your cousins, though I have a feeling the last few were in response to the first couple of duels. But it might still help to find out who they were and why it happened. Maybe even find out why your clan hasn't returned his daisho yet."
Noboru looked over to Uetani again, offering, "And if you have any ideas, I'd be honored to hear them."
