Noboru nodded, knowing full well what was likely on her mind because it was still on his as well.
"If not in this life, then the next."
He then gave Uetani his number, offering, "If you need anything or learn anything about our situation, call me."

She takes the number, puts it in her phone and sends him a text message with her own.

Noboru bows after checking the text and storing the number into his phone. He spent a few moments looking over the Kakita girl, trying to think of what to say that didn't make things more awkward or that wouldn't make his attempts to reconcile with Hoshiko that much more difficult. Finally he just bows to her, offering a simply:
"I look forward to sparring with you again soon. Please carry the Fortunes, Kakita-san."
