Uetani looks impressed to Geki, and offers him a wide smile at his victory.

He smiles a dorky grin back to Uetani and then to the others, still surmised but excited that he was apparently good at this.

Rodrigo shrugged again. Finding the answer to a question without being straightforward? Had the Rokugani never heard of Occam's razor? Overthinking things seemed like a national sport here.
"...I didn't understand any of that!"

"My apologies," the Unicorn says. "It seems I'm doing my job a little too well."

Nade lightly nudged Rodrigo in the side, leaning over to whisper to her current squeeze "We'll have to do some research later, maybe a private study session or something."
And then it's back to the class "Don't worry Sensei, I'll make sure Rodrigo is all up to speed for next class."

Indeed she does!
"Now then, as some of you may have surmised, restricting you from asking the obvious questions was a serious impediment to the exercise. This is quite intentional," she says, smiling at the whole class. "My friend Mirumoto-sensei's Investigations class is available if you prefer to deal with less deliberately confusing queries."
"Take, for example, this scenario."
"Two people, an elderly gentleman and a young girl, cross paths four times over the course of one day. Both know the other only in passing, and both have their own lives to lead. Yet, each time the girl is at one place, the man is there soon after. Neither is following the other, so it must all be coincidence. Correct?"

Kogeki frowns. "Hmm are they like... in the same car or bus or something?" thinking to himself, starting up his brain engine again.
