Ichiro smiled at Tsubasa getting slightly caught up in her giddiness. "Wow that's awesome! You're so fast, I bet you no doubt if you studied it for a bit you'd be awesome with a sword!"

"I've been training my whole life. I'm starting to learn dancing is like sword fighting, it's all about body control, reflexes and agility. I would really enjoy it if you would teach me the basics? It would be a fun thing to learn I think and it would definitely surprise anyone who tried to get fresh with me."

Ichiro nodded "oh Kami yes sword play is in its own way just another form of dance. Higher stakes than usual but it's all about moving. Your opponent is like a dance partner one who is trying to hurt you but the concept is the same. You move together constantly reading each other and trying to interpret where the other is going. I would be delighted to teach you if you wish to learn. Also I am sure Mirumoto Aiko-sensei would want you in her class but if it doesn't fit your schedule I could tutor you."

"If you mean intruding on her class then that's no issue she teaches beginner classes and if you mean with me I wouldn't be willing to teach you if you were more advanced I may be good and on the kendo team but I'm far from perfect." Ichiro said with a smile happy that Tsubasa seemed to be enjoying yourself.
He grinned "How many first dates have you been on where the guy let you beat him up? I have to get points for being unique." He said with a chuckle.

Tsubasa grinned as she grabbed her bokken again, whacking the dummy hard from above with another loud cry.
"I think I saw beginner Kenjutsu on the schedule for tommorow, I should go check it out~"

She finally put the bokken away then, forehead covered in sweat from the workout.
