He paused, then shrugged, tilting his head.
"Unless I get my head chopped off."

"That would be really unfortunate, do you know how hard it is to get blood out of clothes? I'd need to just toss them and get a whole new set. It would be just terrible... also you'd be dead and that'd be bad too. I'd need to get you a tombstone and everything"

"Good~ I'm not sure I could move on from you now. It would take me a like a whole week, maybe even two. It would be tragic. I wouldn't want the first time meeting your parents to be at your funeral where I tell them you got your head chopped off to look cool for me."

"Well back then everyone loved their lord and he made the decisions. If you didn't love your lord and his decisions you became a permanent part of the decorations. It was all very brutal but it made sure Morale was at an all time high! I'm sure Merenae had some pretty grisly stuff in its past too."
