A pause.
"You might want to change yours, too. In case she already knows."

She nodded proudly.

She frowns at Akane. The rumors going around were bad enough. Hisui did not think she needed her friends believing she was having students come and go to her quarters for who knows what.
"Well, let's hope you're right about that. Though you'll probably react to her ambushing you in your quarters better than I did."

"I sure hope so. Though you know the doors have keys, right? If you're so worried just use that too. I mean, I disabled my keypad cause I could never remember the number. But not gonna forget my keys cause I need them to drive or unlock stuff at school!"

"Actually, I always keep forgetting mine. The number was always easier for me to remember," she admits, rather sheepishly. It was a rather odd thing to forget. "And the only key I carry around isn't even to my room. You can probably guess whose door it unlocks."

Akane nods, "Yeah. And that makes sense I suppose; We all have our strengths and weaknesses. Nothing shameful about realizing them and working with them rather than against them."

"Well, we can all see it. I think even Fuyu-chan can see that." She raises a curious eyebrow at the question. "It used to be my old student number. I've changed it to..."
She leans in to whisper the code, just in case anyone might be listening.
"Now, promise me you won't be abusing that information."

"I swear on my ancestors," Akane gives a firm nod, hands on her hips.
As they'd been talking and meandering the two had covered at least few blocks, and Akane looked around, "Hm... seem to have gotten off track. Went straight when I shoulda turned back there. You coming to campus with me, or walkin' around town some more?"
