"If you want them over easy, then yeah. That's the difficult part," the Prince said with a smile. "I like mine over well."
Now he hands Hinata a spatula, seeing as she had done pretty well to get the pieces of egg shell out. "Once more, just be gentle with them, and give them a quick but easy flip. Your first try might end up medium instead." Yoshinobu retrieves his own pan and then begins to cook his own eggs.

Hinata took the spatula and nodded, then worked it under the egg gently, being careful not to break it. It was all going well until she tried to flip it and it ended up rolling onto itself. By some miracle, the yolk did not break. Hinata sighed.
"...oh well, it'll have to do."

Yoshinobu just grinned and kissed her on top of the head in an encouraging gesture.
"If it makes you feel better, I'll eat that one. I'd be honored to," he replies, as his eggs sizzle. Maybe he needed to demonstrate for her - the thought had just occurred to him. So, rather than overcook the egg he was working on, Yoshinobu made to flip it. "Here, watch me and see if you can emulate."
Gently, he slid his spatula under the egg and lifted it. Rather than let the spatula and gravity do all of the work, he angled the pan away from the heat to make it easier to turn and keep the egg looking good. "Sorry, I'm not the best at explaining things..."

Hinata watched closely as Yoshinobu demonstrated, then smirked playfully and nodded. She saw an opening in his defenses.
"Mm, perhaps not, but you're good at practical demonstrations" she said, her tone suggestive.
There, first strike in the duel made. She took the spatula and a plate, then placed her little abomination of an egg on it.
"As for the egg, I'll eat it. Can't have you protecting me from all my mistakes now can I?"

Of course a comment like that made him blush. "Alright, maybe I'm a better teacher than I thought at first." After his first egg was finished, another over easy, he set t on the plate as well.
"See if you can make one over well now. If the egg brakes on this one it is fine. I prefer my yolks cooked through. You just cook it longer after flipping."

Hinata grinned. Her strike had been on point. Now she had to prepare for the inevitable counter.
"Alright, I'll try. No promises, though."
Hinata took another egg and broke it, having more success this time as she dropped it into the pan.

"See look. Like with anything, it just takes some practice." The Kuni's grin made her appear equal parts adorable and proud. He did love confidence in a woman. When she gave him an opening, he'd make her blush under her paint.
"There we go," he says, humming a popular song as he flips his second egg.

Hinata's raised a brow at Yoshinobu as he hummed. He seemed to be having fun. That made her happy. Part of her wanted to just stop cooking and watch him as he worked, but they had agreed to do this together.
"Well, now I know your musical tastes" she said, her tone playful.
...then she smelled something odd. Something...burning? She looked down at the egg and saw smoke starting to trail off it. She had been so busy looking at Yoshinobu that she forgot to flip it! With a little exclamation of surprise, she grabbed the spatula and frantically began trying to flip it, but it was stuck to the pan.

"Oh yeah, well... oh, hold on!" Yoshinobu exclaimed when he saw the pan and egg burning, taking the handle of the pan and moving it over to his sink. He began to run water in it, causing steam to fill up the immediate area. After he had dropped it he took his own egg off the heat (it was pretty much done anyways) and grabbed Hinata's wrists, expecting her hands as if she had just been bitten by a snake.
"You okay? You're not hurt anywhere are you Hinata?" he said, voice and grey eyes full of concern until he noticed she wasn't burned. Yoshinobu sighed in relief, and looked up at her. "You're supposed to be checking out your egg, not me, you know?"

Hinata frowned and looked at the floor, berating herself internally. Yoshinobu scolding her only made it hurt more, even if it was out of concern.
"...I know, sorry."
