While the teacher had yet to arrive at the Kyujutsu dojo. Her servants had arrived ahead of her and were already setting up various bows and different arrows. As well as a variety of targeting dummies.

With her own Dai-Kyu in hand and a collection of her own arrows of different sorts Utaku Hitomi entered the dojo. She took a deep breathe. Her first class and here she was without Mizuki. She exhaled and found a place waiting for the arrival of the teacher.

Ryouko stalked into the room, a tired expression on her face. She looked around, frowning slightly as she didn't see a teacher anywhere. There were a few people that looked a lot more like servants then students, and at least one other student of her clan. She nodded sharply to the other Utaku girl, before walking in eyes scanning the rows of bows with mild interest.
As they waited for the teacher to make her or his appearance, Ryouko found a bench, sitting and resting her head against the wall behind her.

Another student waited in the back of the classroom, wearing a miko with the Asako mon: the symbol of the Void with a yellow and orange background underneath, a right hand holding a quill imposed over both. Her light brown hair fell down to about mid-back and yet the young girl had a chipper smile on her face. She waited for class to begin while noting the other students present, especially the two Utaku women.

Utaku Hitomi was adjusting her long hair when she noticed the other Utaku enter the room. Glad to see she wasn't going to be alone in this class. Noting her rather foul mood she simply offered her fellow clan's member a small smile. Before finishing what she was doing with her hair. When the Asako entered she offered the girl a wave. She looked at the different arrows and the targets that were still being set up wondering just how their sensei would proceed

"Well well what darling little students I have." Otomo Katsumi says as she enters grandly into the the Kyujutsu Dojo. "My Apologies for being late. It is ever pertinent for the boar to arrive fashionably late." She chuckles at her own joke before pulling out her very elegant and clearly custom made bow. "Welcome to Intro to Kyujutsu. I promise I did not name it. It's what the school came up with." She shrugs her shoulders and picks up an arrow. Eyeing it for a moment. "So tell me how many of you students have actually fired a bow and arrow before coming to this class? Rather lets make this simpler what level of experience do most of you have?"

Ryouko's eyes snapped open at the entrance of the teacher. She got up, walking over to stand closer.
After giving a bow to the sensei and nods to the other student, she began the round of introduction. "Utaku Ryouko, sensei." She stoof with her back straight, hand clasped behind her back. There wasn't even the hint of a smile on her too serious expression as she continued.
"I'm afraid my experience with bows consists of watching them being fired from afar. I have held a few and know they require a fair amount of strenght to handle, but have never fired one before. I hope to fix that with your help."

Otomo Katsumi nods her head and gives the far to serious student a smile. "Feel free to relax Utaku-San. This is your first day in class. No need to be so stiff and have no hesitation I will teach you all how to fire." She glances around the rest of the room waiting for others to speak up.

Utaku Hitomi steps forward taking a deep breathe. "Utaku Hitomi. I've practived most of my life with a bow and arrow." She motions towards her Dai-Kyu. "Though most of my experience comes from shooting while on horseback. I've never really fired with my feet firmly on the ground..."

Otomo Katsumi nods her head. "You've had that bow custom made haven't you? No doubt for firing while on the ride?" She chuckles and shakes her head. "You'll find it a bit different On the ground."
