The temple was a very nice building. Large windows surrounded it, and on days when the sun was bright the monks would open them to let the warm sunlight in. Sadly, today was not such a day. The rain pelted soothingly against the closed wooden panels that blocked the windows.
One such panel happened to be rather close to Hinata. As the Kuni knelt, praying to the fortunes that had granted us such blessings in the last few days, she may hear an odd sound. Wood creaking... As if someone was pushing against the panel. Creeeeak. Creak creak. CREAAAAAK. With a soft snap, the feeble lock that held the wood in place gave, and the window swung open. Rain pelted across the Crab's face, and when she looked, she would be greeted by quite an odd sight. A horse was staring right at her, it's head poking through the now open widow.
Daisuke's large dark eyes were looking at the crab curiously, and he reach out to try and nibble at the girl's hair, huffing in greeting. His black mane stuck to his brown coat, the rain dripping from it on the temple's wooden floor.

Received and understood. Handsigns are fun—lame and old-school fun. She wouldn’t be caught dead doing it but she could at least read it and perform it in case of emergencies. So maybe never caught alive doing it would be more of an accurate statement.
“Sounds like a personal problem,” she muses in response. “We have a fine arts facility. Why don’t you ask around there? Unless you want a mask made of flowers.”
Wait...is that a horse? One of the Unicorn’s pets must have gotten out.

Hinata stared at the window with increasing dread as something strained against it. In Crab lands, something trying to break in the window was never a good sign, so her mind began running through all sorts of horrible monsters it could be. This was a temple, and the kami were strong here, so without her even thinking about it a ball of flame appeared in her hand. Then the door burst open, and without even giving her time to see what it was, Hinata's arm shot up of it's own accord, only stopping half way through it's arc and shooting a jet of flame at the wall instead. Once she realized what she was doing, she cut the flames off and held both hands to her mouth in surprise.
It was a horse. She had almost just burnt a horse. How did it even get out of the stables!?
"Oh kami I am so sorry!"

"It is. My new girlfriend advised that I get a new mask." He smirked.
"I was thinking of a robotic tiger head, but I could use advice."
Then he saw the horse and the hilarious reaction of the Crab and chuckled. Once his on returned he shouted at her.
"Kuni-san do you need assistance? I can ensure you it is not an oni-kage."

Daisuke's head turned to look at the charred spot on the wall beside him, then back at the Crab. He seemed to be saying 'really?' at her, shaking his head slightly. Humans, really. They needed to learn to relax! Huffing, the horse reached up to nuzzle against the Kuni, potentially rubbing some of her makeup off if she didn't back away fast enough. It seemed almost apologetic in nature.
His ears flickered at the Bayushi's voice, and the large head turned to look at the two scorpions, neighing in greeting. Then a voice sounded from behind the steed. "Oh, oh oh Kami..." It sounded like a young man's, trying to catch his breath and sounding like he might just have run a marathon. A youthful face poked from under Daisuke, confirming it to be indeed a young man; a servant by the look of things. "S-samurai-sama I am so very very sorry!" She boy said, bowing half a dozen time to Hinata. He reached for Daisuke's halter, trying to pull the horse back out but to no avail. The horse's head didn't even move an inch despite the young man's attempts and he was left, literally hanging.
"S-so sorry!" The man repeated as Daisuke turned back his head to face the Crab, dragging the stable hand along effortlessly. "W-we tried to keep him inside but he keeps finding ways to get out!" He squealed, panic obvious on his face.

Hinata sighed and held a hand out towards the man, gesturing for him to calm down. She was annoyed, but the peasant boy seemed to realize he had made a mistake and had apologized for it. She could respect that. The horse was dragging the poor boy along, though, so she decided it would be best to get up and try to help him.
She stood up, and walked over to the horse, trying to grab the other reign and help keep it from dragging them both along. However, she had no experience with horses either, and began to be dragged along as well.
"Ergh! How do you ever keep these animals under control!? They are so strong!"

The incident between the Kuni and the horse likewise took Chiyo by surprise, who half expected that the majestic creature would trample the student into the ground.
That...would be pretty freaking awesome. Terrifying, but what a story to tell--not that this doesn't have potential to blossom into a glorious rumor as it is.
As Yoruga moved quickly to assist Hinata, Chiyo ambled behind with far less enthusiasm to assist. A young ah... stablehand? Whoever he was, he was not going to have any luck with that horse.
Oh kami now they're both struggling. There's no way the Bayushi's getting involved in this.
"Maybe he has unfinished business?" She offered, half in jest.

Daisuke paused, looking a bit confused. His head was quite heavy suddenly. He stared down at the Crab, before starting to contently nibble at her hair. He wasn't really trying to hurt her or pull the hair out, but it would certainly ruin her hairstyle!
"Oh, w-well usually they're really well behaved so we don't need to force them to do anything, samurai-sama..." She boy squeaked, looking rather pale. "Daisuke-san here is a... erm... Free spirit?" It was obvious he was trying not to insult the majestic beast while implying the horse was an over spirited idiot. Daisuke seemed to sense the undertone because he turned to stare at stable hand who shrinked under the stare, squealing a "Sorry!!".

Yoruga had no intention to help anyone. He moved so thay he could shot a better video of the whole mess. He unlocked his phone and start recording.
To upload or to not upload?
He chuckled clearly amused.

Now the horse had ruined Hinata's hair. Great. She looked over at the two Scorpion, seeing if they were moving to help, and instead saw Yoruga recording the incident.
"Hey! Instead of shooting videos for your little rumor mill, how about you do something useful and call a teacher!?"
