"CHUI!" came a sharp, deep call from the side of the stables nearest the pens, just about the time Hinata pled for someone to go summon a teacher. While the chaos had ensued one of the hands ran toward the pens to grab the stable master. Utaku Genji stands at the door with an air of authority about him even as he holds a lion cub in one arm and a bottle in the other. For the cub's part, it was content to grasp the bottle with both front paws and slowly nurse milk from it.
"What is going on in here?" he barked out, dark eyes trying to assess the situation and restore order.

"Utaku-sensei! Thank the kami! This horse has gotten loose!"
At least Daisuke seemed to have slowed down once Hinata had grabbed on, but he (she? She was not sure) was still hard to hold on to.
"Can you help us get it under control, please?"

Genji saw Daisuke and let out a call that would otherwise be nonsensical to get the horses attention! He then began to make his way toward the horse, a smile on his face.
"Come on, Daisuke. What's gotten into you this morning?"
As he approached the horse his eyes flit to the students present. "Horses usually don't do this kind of thing on their own. Can someone explain just what happened?"

When the Utaku came to the rescue and asked them all what had just transpired, Chiyo simply glanced to Hinata. It's not like she was the one who nearly incinerated the horse. Or taking video of their following struggle for that matter (though she would definitely badger the other Bayushi to send her a link to it later).

At the sight of the incoming teacher Yoruga, who totally ignored the Kuni's protest, finished the video and emailed it to Chiyo. Then he locked his phone and returned it to his pocket.
"Well that was fun." He commented. "Shall we leave them, everything seems to be under order now." He suggested and turned back to the bench.
"I will need advice on how to be a good boyfriend also. If you are offering any."

"You're...asking me how to be a good boyfriend?" If it wasn't such a weird and unexpected request, Chiyo would have probably laughed it off. The first thought of course was first you have to do something about all that while gesturing widely at him, but she was 99% sure he'd just walk away from that and move on. So she could be an actual team player and make some attempt to practice her preaching and maybe score some browning points with this weirdo to cash in for later.
"Well, I'd have to know who the girlfriend is in the 'boyfriend and girlfriend equation' first. Unless you're not talking about a boyfriend--in which case you're on your own. That's too clandestine, even for me."
Actually nothing is sacred, but pretending to draw a line is like drawing one in the sand. It can be erased when convenient.

Hinata sighed in relief as Genji came to her aid.
"Thank you, Utaku-sensei. This horse surprised me while I was praying. I saw the stable boy trying to get it under control, so I decided to help him."
She then glared at the two Bayushi students.
"Unlike some people."

Uh oh! Daisuke's ears flickered in the direction of Genji. The horse tried to look innocent, but the stable master obviously was having none of it. Time to leave! The horse spun around, turning to leave the way he'd came from. Hopefully Hinata had let go of his halter, otherwise she'd suddently find herself being dragged through the window, just like the poor stable hand that cried out in panic as Daisuke took a step. Then paused. The Utaku steed seemed to have realized he was dragging extra baggage.
The poor servant quickly let go of the horse as Daisuke stared him down, stammering apologies and bowing a few times. To a horse. It looked very silly, yet the steed seemed to understand, huffing importantly as if to say 'I forgive you little weak human.'

Hinata managed to let go of the halter just in time to avoid being dragged out the window, though her arms did slam into the window frame.
"Ow!"
She looked over her arms to make sure they were not injured. Thankfully, they were unharmed, though they would likely be bruised later. She glared at Daisuke.

The fact that she hasn't been mean up to now was encouraging. Being a recluse didn't allow him many alternatives for advice on the matter.
"It's your roommate. I expected you to be better informed." He replied.
He tgen turned at the Kuni. She seemed to be worried about her hands.
"Kuni-san if you want I can suggest a herbal mix to apply there."
