Hinata looked up at Yoruga.
"If you had helped in the first place maybe I would not have smashed my hands on the windowsill!"
She sighed, and gestured deferentially to him.
"Fine, what do you suggest?"

"I noticed the horse only after you almost immolated it. Then the peasant showed up, it was not mu job to tend to the horse as it was not yours. Still I am glad that you did, since it was very funny." He replied. "Let me see." He said as he reached for her hands and held them steady. "They will be bruised in a couple of hours and will hurt a little by tomorrow if left untended." He smirked and reached into his backpack. He pulled some bags with herbs and a vial. He crushed the dried herbs into the vial and mixed them. "Add some water and let it boil. Then allow the mixture to return to room temperature. Use that as a cream and apply thrice per day. You don't need to do that for more than two days, but it will also help with the lack of moisture on your hands." [Intelligence/Medicine(Herbalism) roll: 25, shitty roll, but still good enough]

"Thank you."
Hinata looked at the peasant boy still tending to the horse.
"...and you are right, it may not have been either of our jobs, but the poor boy was about to be trampled. He did not have control of the situation at all."
She looked back at Yoruga, frowning.
"Just because it is not your job does not mean you should do nothing."

“Mochihime-san? No, she hasn’t mentioned you at all,” she says, pretending to reflect on hours of lengthy conversation that never happened. “No...she mostly talks about her robots.”
Now that Hinata was well, part of the mix, Chiyo simply gave her a very passive analysis. Some goth chick, full of pent up hatred or something. Probably hates her on principle. Has no real reason NOT to. The Bayushi smirked at her. “You know he was probably grooming that greasy hair of yours. You shouldn’t be so harsh on him.”

"Yeah, she does that. I love it when she speaks geek to me." He smiled as he whispered to Chiyo behind his hand.
"Well what can I say, I don't see it that way." He responded to the Kuni.
"You two know each other?"

Hinata glared at Chiyo. The girl had just ignored everything that had happened, and now was insulting her? Typical Scorpion.
"No. And now I have no desire to."

He would like some nerdy chick. He'll give him some advice later, but right now she had a Crab to declaw. The look she gave Hinata was that of bemusement.
"That's a shame. I was going to suggest a solution. I can't help when it comes to handling animals but I know a thing or two about hair care."
She tilts her head. "I almost envy it, even in its current state."
It was, for the most part, her trying super hard to not be a total bitch.

Yoruga reached into his backpack and took some chips and let the girls have their fun. Some days were so much fun.
New mask should have a cam. It sucks that I can't record this.

Hinata smiled sweetly.
"Well, perhaps I should take your advice. You must be an expert on hair care, considering how well you have done with the material you have to work with. Doing the best you can with poor material is the mark of a true artisan."

The Bayushi's sweet smile was nearly predatory. The gloves were coming off, no more missus nice Scorpion.
"Given how incredibly perceptive you've been this morning, how could I possibly doubt your keen observations," Chiyo muses, pondering on the weakness of Hinata's remark.
"Perhaps if you pitch in we can work with finer materials. You don't have to settle for attracting horses."
