"I'm fine, really," she blusters dismissively, blushing heavily. Ryuha had tried to avoid that word. The vulnerability of it, the pain it could lead to. She acted aloof with everyone else, but Kobushi was a nice enough guy to look past the facade so far.
She was excited and afraid all at once. Like the climb that lead to the top of a roller coaster. "Let's just keep going, yeah? You wanna try jiujutsu now?"

Rodrigo clapped as the other two finished their bout.

Then he noticed they were having a moment and blinked.

Rodrigo looked from Kobushi to Ryuha, then back to Kobushi, his expression perplexed.

For a moment Ryuha was silent. Silent, and afraid.
