Sakura looks a bit embarrassed by Noboru's behavior, and resolved to hunt him down later. After all, there was obviously more going on there and she had a responsibility as the Dragon's Student Council rep to look after her clans interests at the school, and a student that was that angry and directionless would pose a hazard to advancing the desires of her Clan.

Noboru's words were like a slap in the face. She is... hated?

For whatever reason Reiha's words cut the Mirumoto like steel. He stops in his tracks just before reaching the door to the dojo and turns back toward her. Yet as he looks at her his gaze seems to be elsewhere, his thoughts on something else entirely.

Fuyu turns to the Spider and gives him a nod. "Excellent, a spot on the team is yours if you want one Mitsu-san." He bowed to her "Thank you for the compliment sensei, Let me think about it. You will have your answer by end of day." He turned to Noburo as he was leaving and gave a sharp grin. |

Noboru was still looking at Reiha when Kaizen grinned. He looked over at the white-haired student and narrowed his eyes a moment.
"Mitsu-san, do you have something you wish to say to me?"

Reiha takes an involuntary step back as the Mirumoto stares at her. Is he angry at her? Or might he be reconsidering? Is he even really looking at her? She swallows and offers him a discrete little bow before sitting down again.
"Sensei? How shall we proceed with electing a captain? If... if I am even allowed to compete, of course..."

Fuyuko turns again to look at Mitsu and Noboru. "This one thought she made her thoughts on this matter clear. She will not speak a third time. Understood?" with that bit of sharpness to her quiet tone. Then she turns to Reiha. "One on One duels until we have a victor. Participation is not required of course. Participants will be allowed one or two shinai"

Isao stood up after he cleared his head and stretched out his back, pushing his hips out, and craning his head back. He then lunged forward, stretching out his hamstrings before he windmilled his arms, loosening up all of his muscles. With a smile the Crane then padded over to Doji Reiha and grinned. "You should totally compete, Doji-san," the Kakita suggested. "It's not about winning or losing, it's about testing yourself. Pushing yourself. Learning from the experience. It would be totally valuable for your development in the iaijutsu art.
"I for one plan to compete since this is a great opportunity to test myself." |
