The movement was likely quicker than any average student could perceive. Isao drew his sword but it was too late. When it was over Isao stood with his sword drawn but Uetani had already drew her iaito and left a light cut on his person. His eyes were wide, surprised he had been beaten. The young Crane had not met many peers but it made sense considering she trained at the academy too. With a returned grin he bowed to his upper classmen. "I should have expected as much," Isao chirped, cheerful as a songbird. "We should do this again. I've never faced someone quite like you."

"I understand Fuyuko-sensei has taken something of an interest in you" she smiles to him "If you think you could benefit in training with me as well, then I would be happy to help train such a luminary"
Her tone is a little flattering, in a flirtatious, but still acceptable way

She steps up to face the Topaz champion, bowing to him, scanning him, the way he moves, his stance, his step
"Shinjo-sama. I have looked forward to this"
She adopts her stance and begins to read his, before sliding into the moment, the focus...

Takezou bows to her as well. "Thank you I have as well." He looks at his opponent looking for a weakness. He attempts to narrow his focus.
