"Awesome," Isao said, grinning. "I look forward to sparring sometime with you." would hear a soft, teasing voice behind her as Isao grinned at the young Dragon maiden. Sparring? Is that what you children are calling it these days?The yokai then caught sight of Rodrigo and paused, remembering something from her life and sounding amused. Hmm. I do hope that one is more socially aware than Shinjo Ananga-san was. After all, a pretty face alone isn't enough to tempt someone. The amusement turned to something a bit more sly. I should know. |

Ichiro bows to sakura and Isao "Good morning Mirumoto-san, kakita-san. Are you here to lead the kendo team to victory, improve your own skill, or a bit of both?" He asked while mopping some of the sweat off.

Isao grinned and bowed to Ichiro, another Lion he hadn't fought yet.
"If I make the cut, I'd like to represent the team. I'd like to improve while I'm at it and represent my school well. That's not much to ask for, ne?"

Ichiro chuckled at Rodrigo "I relish the chance to cross bokken with you again my foreign friend."
Looking at Isao "Certainly not one can never ask too much of themselves. I bet we'll have a great team this year."

Aiko smiles softly as she sees Priya arrive and sign up, "Alright. I suppose we should get started soon on selecting the captain. I recognize most of you from my kenjutsu classes and those I don't recognize, this one is Mirumoto Aiko, the kenjutsu and investigation sensei here, student of both Niten and Kitsuki's methods. Welcome to the Kendo Team. While we wait, I would recommend putting on the bogu if you haven't already."

Sakura seems a tad uncertain about the Kakita's interest in sparring, so she decides to just focus on putting on her bogu. Nothing can go wrong with that, right?
