She let her eyes close the rest of the way then, letting her other senses fill in the blanks. The smell of the forest, the rustle of the leaves in the wind, the feel of the cool lake air on her skin, and of course Nomens lovely touches.
"I think things are moving just right, right now at least. You're nice and warm and I'm starting to calm down. This is the perfect place for me to be right now."
Her fingers squeeze Nomens hand back, just enjoying the fact that she had someone to be close to in this strange place.
"2 years ago... I would have said it was the most amazing thing in the world. I would have done anything for it... but I'm doubtful these days. Things haven't gone how I expected and I'm not sure I have the stomach to handle the mistakes I've made... I mean can make. I just need to think on it some more."

Nomen remained quiet, just allowing the girl to talk in her own comfort, Nomans hand gently stroking the skin just under the girls skirt, not moving towards anything more lewd just keeping her hand calm and still. She rested her head against the other girls as well.
"I think I understand. I've been in your position before, doubting myself after some mistakes. However...I think I can say with the utmost confidence that I believe in you, Nadeshiko. You're a strong, charming girl who can do so much. You've got a whole families worth of expectation on your shoulder, but you continue on as if nothing in the world could stop you."
Nomen placed a gentle kiss on the girls cheek.
"You're going to be the best Horiuchi ever, my darling. I know this. Don't get yourself down for a few mistakes, just think about your strengths. And when that's not enough, you have my strength too" she moved her head slightly, leaning over Nade's shoulder to look at the girls face "I promise that. Me and you against the world, even if the me is in the shadows, pushing you ever forward. Sound good?"

"You're so amazing" she whispered, keeping her voice just loud enough for her friend and lover to hear. Her shifted slightly to nestle in against Nomens luscious chest, feeling the softness even through her clothes. Her true goal though was to listen to the ninjas heartbeat, the soothing sound helping to wash all the stress and fatigue of her life away.
"You don't even know what my mistakes are and here you are, being there for me, saying you'll help me. You're the best friend I've ever had and of course something more."
She shifts again, letting her cheek get kissed with a soft coo before she moves to kiss lightly at Nomen's jaw in return. "You're the sneakiest, stealthiest person I know. You could probably sneak up on the Emperor himself and no one would notice. That's why I know that no matter what happens, no matter what's in my past.. you'll be there to help me push forward into the future."
She leant up then, pressing her lips lightly to the ones resting just above, arching her shoulders slightly to get the right angle as she simply melts into the stolen kiss for as long as she can.

Nomen moved her arms to wrap round the girls waist as she turned, smiling warmly as the girl spoke.
"I'll always be behind you" Nomen whispered as her lips met Nades, holding her close for a long, deep, loving kiss. Pulling Nadeshiko down as she lays back, never breaking the moment, until they needed to briefly break for air. Only then did she move her arms, bringing a hand to stroke Nadeshikos cheek gently.
"You have such pretty eyes" she added quietly, looking up into those aformentioned eyes.

"And your eyes are so unique, that colour is so... so beautiful." she murmurs in return, staring deep into those lovely purple pupils.
Her fingers move up to brush lightly against Nomen's cheek in return, tracing over the lovely skin.
"As long as you're behind me I'll have the strength to move forward. Thank you Nomen. I'm so happy I met you... even if you tried to scare me half to death~"

"It's a good life lesson; you never know what's just round the corner, so prepare for any eventuality" Nomen chuckled, placing a kiss on Nadeshikos nose "hopefully you're feeling better now? If not...I can make you feel amazing" she grinned.

She wrinkles her nose a bit at the kiss, looking almost catlike before she leans in to steal another kiss.

Nomen smiled into the brief kiss, whispering "anytime, my beautiful Nade-nyan" before placing another kiss on the girls lips, her hands moving to gently carress the girls rear.

"Nomen, lets play a little game. I'll tell you a secret about myself and you can tell me a secret about yourself. It doesn't have to be big but I kinda want to get to know you a bit better, this whole thing has been rather whirlwind" She murmurs, wiggling her bottom to press the skirt covered thing firmly into the Scorpions hands. "I'll go first if you want"
