Just as he did every day, Tamori Yoshi has once again made his way to the Campus Temples immediately after classes let out to offer his prayers to the Fortunes. Of course, each of the times before, he had either chanced upon, met intentionally, or prayed on behalf of Kakita Tsuki. He hopes to see her here again today, if only because the thought of going a day devoid of contact with the young Crane woman was starting to feel as foreign to him as going a day without a trip to the Temples themselves. Finding himself the only one currently present upon his arrival, he decides to wait.

Tsuki indeed show up, for she would never willingly miss a day of offering her prayers to the fortunes and the elements. Reverence was, after all, a part of any Shugenja's duty not only to remain in good relationship with the kami but to learn all they can. Still, as she hopped up the steps towards the temple entrance, she couldn't help but feel a warmth in her breast at the idea of seeing Yoshi at the temples. He had quickly become another reason to return each day, and made what would normally be a moment to herself far more special. A moment she could share with another whom she liked.
As the door slid open and then closed, Tsuki stepped in and quickly caught sight of the young Dragon waiting undoubtedly for her. She flashed him a smile and then offered a bow to the young man. "Yoshi-san, it's nice to see you again."

"It's nice to see you as well, Tsuki-san," he replies, returning both the smile and bow. After the special night they had shared at the party, and the next spent on the phone in deep conversation, this return now to the setting in which they were more accustomed to finding each other could have easily felt to Yoshi like something of step in the wrong direction. However, not in spite of those times but rather because of them, this encounter felt just as new as each one previous. Their journey continued, ever forward.

The woman smiled as she set aside her items unneeded in the temple and then quickly, if gracefully, moved over next to Yoshi. "Who shall we pray to first this time?" She asked joyfully. It was nice to return to this, something a bit more routine in nature. Although anything is generally better than running around trying to figure out clubs and the like.

Yoshi pauses in thought for a long while as he considers her question.
"Be bold and wise, Yoshi-san," he remembers Tsuki's words from the night before. He honestly wasn't sure he could do both at the same time... but for her, he would try. He smiles at her joy, feeling it himself as he prepares to answer.
"Benten," he tells her, softly but assuredly. He moves from her side to stand before the Fortune of Romantic Love, waiting for her to join him in prayer.

Tsuki tilted her head at Yoshi, clearly reading him over but not objecting to the suggestion. So she strode over beside the Dragon and knelt down, pulling from her case a small stick of incense and moving to light it before the fortune of romantic love. Without a word she looked to Yoshi and only waited till he began his prayer before she began hers.
Her prayers were for hers alone, and even more, longer than likely expected. When she was done, the woman would wait for Yoshi to be finished, if he was not already done before her. Regardless, she would motion to Bishamon next. "Shall we offer our reverence to Bishamon now?"

Yoshi's own prayers were as inscrutible but definitely not as lengthy. He concentrated upon his worship as best he could, though he was shaken by the apparent change in Tsuki's mood.
"Yes... Bishamon," he replies a bit numbly. It seemed he had managed to be bold without the wisdom as he feared, but at least Fukurokujin was next after that. He would also need Bishamon's blessings too, if he was to endure the guilt of seemingly killing her joy. As they cross the temple floor, he offers a sincere apology, "I'm sorry... if I... offended or saddened you somehow... with my first choice. That... wasn't my intent."
He kneels before the Fortune of Strength, letting his apology stand if she didn't want to discuss it further before offering more reverence. From his own case, he takes with careful hands another stick of the bitter kyara.

Tsuki blinked at Yoshi, the apology clearly blindsiding the young lady. "I am uncertain to what you mean, Yoshi-san. I was fine with the choice." Her concern unhidden, and perhaps a bit of confusion. Still she knelt down beside Yoshi as he moved to prepare incense for the next fortune.
"Did I do something to make you feel as if you had done some wrong?" Tsuki asked.

"Just... the happiness you were feeling when we first greeted each other seemed to... not be there... as we prayed to Benten," he explains. He looks at Bishamon's feet as he considers the situation more objectively. "Maybe I was misreading your usual serenity." He sighs, stopping short of apologizing for apologizing. Looking over at her kneeling by his side, he smiles.
"My recent prayers to Benten have been with joy and hopefulness in my heart," he tells her softly, "and... I just wanted to share that... with you." He folds his hands together in preparation for their time before Bishamon, though he waits for her to take the lead at her favored Fortune.

"It's there," Tsuki said as she offered a smile to the man, "I have enjoyed our last five days of prayer, and I am certain I will enjoy those to come."
She indeed took the lead and settled quickly into her own prayers. Like those that came before it was silent, but it didn't mean she was without her own requests to the fortune whom she had taken to. As the incense slowly burned away, she kept at her silent talk with a being who, as far as she was aware, would say nothing back.
