Aiko waves it off, "Nothing to important, Akane. And besides, I don't have to worry about that with you. Because you still see me for me, much like my husband does. And that means the world to me."

Akane gives a curt nod with a frown, feeling like she missed something, but her face quickly rebrightens when the food appears.

Aiko beams as she readies herself to dig into her meal, giving a brief prayer of thanks before returning her attention to Akane.
"I've been dealing with a bit of...hero worship issues, I think would be the way to put it. And I've been trying to get students to see me as a person, rather than the hero of the tales."
