Noboru pulls out his own phone at that and starts texting Aiko. After a minute or so he nods, "She and I are going to meet tomorrow during her free period to discuss this. But even if she believed it existed and now knows it doesn't, that's only going to get us so far. IF you have a free period, it might help to have all of us present." A sigh as he hated the thought he was about to utter, "Possibly even one or both of your parents since this directly involves them, but that's something we should clear with all of them first."
He looks away, noting, "Even then I'm not sure that's a good idea. It's not that I don't expect them to be properly courteous with one another, but once the discussions start... what should happen if old wounds flare back up?"

Tsuki, for better or worse, let out a small laugh when Noburo stated he didn't expect them to be discourteous. She was quick to offer him a small smile, a silent signal that she wasn't laughing at him but something she knew had brought humor to the situation. Clearing her throat she spoke up, "I suppose it will have to happen in regards to us talking, but I honestly can't guarantee my own parents showing up. If you truly believe that might be needed, then I will contact them tonight."
His other concern was a valid one, however. "Well, I don't know. From what I understand, there's multiple parts to their debate, but hopefully everyone just sticks to the topic of what is going on. A fair warning though, my father is direct and, well, not your typical Crane, I suppose."

"So you're saying he's more akin to a Hida or a Daidoji who has spent time at the Wall?" He smiled a little and thought it was an extremely awkward smile it was clear he meant no insult with his statement.
"I don't know if either of them will be needed, Kakita-san," the Dragon offered as he shifted back to the topic at hand. "But it wouldn't hurt to talk to your parents just in case, ne?" Noboru shrugged a little then looked away again. "Is there anything else I should know, Kakita-san? Or any questions you have of me?"

"For simplicities sake, yes, more like that," Tsuki answered.
"It had been my plan to speak with them. There are things I desire to know now, and it will help us as well," She noted to the Dragon, finally pocketing the phone back onto her person.
"There's nothing else I can think to offer, but I am interested in something, if you don't mind. What was your sister like?"

Though sad it was probably the most genuine smile Tsuki'd seen from the Mirumoto in their few meetings with one another. His thoughts seemed to drift off to a happier time, as if the rays of the Jade Sun were shining upon his face.
"Compassionate. Warm. Strong character. Courteous. Honest. Brave..."
A pause.
"She took the name Hikari upon her gempukku, which was fitting because she had this ability to light up the room whenever she entered it. I don't think she was actually blessed by Benten but if she wasn't she was probably as close to it as a mortal can come without actually receiving her blessings. She made friends easily, was patient with people... especially Mirumoto Rey-sensei and myself. Even though Rey-sensei was in classes with Hikari, she's only a year older than me. We'd pick at each other a lot and sometimes argue a lot, like kids do I guess, and Hikari-chan..." He smiled a little bigger, "Hikari-chan always knew how to make things right between us. She'd also tell us stories of honor. Stories of the Clan Wars and the War of Dark Fire and even during the Thousand Years of Peace."
He looked over to Tsuki as a single tear welled in his left eye, "I don't know if you have any siblings, Kakita-san, but if they're even half to you what my sister was to me, you should consider yourself extremely fortunate."

Tsuki listened quietly as Noburo poured out his heart and love for his sister. Much of his words mirrored her own experiences with her siblings, at least when it came to the feelings behind them. Noburo's love for his sister and the relationship they shared was likely deeper than even most siblings. She was fortunate that no such fate had befallen her or her siblings.
"I am always grateful for every moment I have with my sister and brothers," She answered back. "Thank you for sharing with me your sister. I will not forget her."

The Dragon bowed to Tsuki. "Suspect that it will rain tomorrow," came only half a koan, the other half too improper at the moment to be said without inferring or implying insult. "Enjoy your time with them when you can because you'll never know when it'll be the last time you see them."
With that Noboru straightened, adding, "I... also apologize for my behavior at the arcade. Given everything you know now, I didn't trust myself to not create an issue when there needn't be one and felt it better that you, Doji-sama and Akodo-sama continue on without me."

Tsuki waved her hand to the side, as if to brush away any insult he might have offered at the time. "I understand why you said what you said better now, but I appreciate the apology all the same. I don't hold any ill will for it though."
She glanced to the nearby clock and then back to Noboru. "If you need to get a hold of me, you can likely find me at the Student Council. Otherwise I will find you after I learn why no one has said anything."
