"Wow certainly sounds like you're a prodigy. And an artisan sister to boot. How come she isn't here too? I can't imagine she isn't good enough to get in."

"She was far better than I. If I were a prodigy, she was a master." she takes a sad little breath "She is dead now though, and I am the last of my family"

Fuck......way to go man nothing says romance like bringing up the dead sister. Ichiro kicks himself.
"Oh I am sorry to hear that, losing loved ones is always hard as hell. I can sympathize with that."

She offers him a commiserative look
"There is no need to apologize. We are here to get to know each other more ne? So now you know I am a poor orphan" she is obviously teasing. Her lord more than provides for her

Ichiro threw a sheepish smile back at her.
"True but I had hoped for a happy time, not to lead with such a sad subject. Anyway it has happened." He waved in a dismissive gesture "So what do you like to do when you aren't seducing boys at the temple or practicing to mete out justice by the edge of your sword?"

"Sometimes I seduce girls out by the temple too" she smiles wickedly "I like poetry, and the tea ceremony"

Sigh this girl would be the death of him he thought as his blood flow shot up the thought of Uetani with another girl... He gulped and returned a mischevious grin of his own.
"You are incorrigible Uetani-chan. But poetry, really I suppose I shouldn't be surprised you seem to have a tortured soul, the soul of an artisan but your art is pain and death. I'd surely love the chance to hear some of your poetry sometime, I'm sure it's fantastic as your tea skills are."

Ichiro raises an eyebrow at her. "Well now that was quite good, you actually assess me quite well though I will say you go one detail wrong. I hide not rage from you, but pain though I suppose one is often borne of the other. But really really good for something written on the fly."

"Haiku should be written on the fly really. They are about capturing a moment, and sharing it with people through that" she smiles and takes his hand "If you want to share some of that pain. I can listen to it for you"
