Ichiro was slightly nervous as he gets ready for his date with Uetani, his black eye is finally faded away leaving his face unblemished. Ichiro had slipped on his black silk shirt and dress slacks with shiny black shoes, over top he has a gold vest with a black mon over the breast, he wears the shirt with the top two buttons open. ok man you got this, you already know she's into you, you just have to be your usual charming self ok dude? you got this. He psyched himself up while making sure his hair was in place and his clothes looked good. Alright you're killing it man just keep casual. He walks to the meeting place where he told Kakita Uetani to meet him and waited for her to show kind of idly looking around such busying his mind so he wouldn't psych himself out thinking about the date. |

She is wearing a black cocktail dress, with a feather boa, and a black derby hat
"Ichiro-san." she gives him a wicked smile, full of promise "Shall we?"

Damn. She looks so goddamn good. He thought to himself it took his brain a moment to focus on her words. He nodded and extended his arm for her to take.
"Certainly, and may I say you look gorgeous in that dress." Probably not half as good as she looks out of it. Assuming she takes his arm he leads her on a little walk to the site of their date a slightly upscale traditional Rokugani joint. "I'm still new to the area but I've heard nothing but good things about this place." He says as he begins to walk in.

"Well then, I shall bow to your taste in this regard" she smiles at him, thinking about the figure they must cut, the two of them
"I like your clothes, you scrub up well" Her playful smile says that she expected as much, and they walk through the threshold proudly.

Ichiro chuckled "I would say the same about you but you always look incredible." He says with an appraising eye roaming across Uetani's profile.
He walks up to the host "Reservation for 2 under Akodo Ichiro." The host bows to them and directs them to their table. The restaurant is pretty nice decent decor not overly gaudy but not too minimal. They are seated and menus placed in front of them and drink orders requested. Ichiro orders a bottle of sake.
"So Uetani-san how has your day went so far? Anything exciting?"

"Oh little and less. Classes and the like, you know how it is. How about you? Have you done anything exciting yet?"
She looks over the menu with a delicate smile as she does, ordering iced green tea to drink

He nods "today has been rather uneventful working out in the morning as always, yoga class trying to quiet some personal storms and then some running in track before I got all pretty for you." He says playfully, his lips quirked into a grin.

"I am but a pale shadow next to you my dear. But thank you." He looks through the menu for a bit. "Well considering what I really want is not on the menu, i suppose I'll settle for a bit of sushi as it is one of my favorite foods." He sets his menu to the side "and what about you? What will you have?"

"What is it that you really want?" she asks with a coy smile, seeing if he dare say it
"I will have the sushi too though, if it is your favourite, it is an experience I will be delighted to share with you"
