Hisui frowns at the description. Familiar. All too familiar.
She sighs, letting the riceball distract her from her concerns. From memories of golden eyes. Fox tails. Of games played with the mind and heart. Of predators lurking in the midst or wearing human faces. But she doesn't let the distraction last long. She wonders if she should inform the Kuni of this, of the details.
"It's a game," she eventually says. "She's allowing Ichiro-san to feel as if she's in control. It gives her the illusion of power, when it's the Otomo that actually holds the reins. It's a game I've seen before. It doesn't end well with an imbalance like a sensei and a student."

Hinata's frown deepened. She sensed there was a story there, but she was not going to pry. If Hisui had experience with this sort of thing, that was all that mattered. She was saying Priya was in danger, and Hinata believed her.
"Oh...I am meeting her today, should I talk to her?"
She paused, and shook her head.
"I am not sure she would listen to me, even if we are friends. We only met yesterday. Maybe you should."

"I doubt she'd listen to me any more than she would to you," she says, sounding like there's both frustration and a hint of regret in her tone. "But she might listen to Aiko-sensei."
"Still, I won't ask you to be dishonest. If you think there is cause for you to voice my concerns to her, I won't stop you. But she might not feel like she's in any danger and may take offense at the suggestion."

"...Mirumoto-sensei would be a better option, yes."
Hinata sighed, and scuffed her feet.
"I wish I could help her more directly."

"You are doing what you can, and sometimes that's all anyone can ask."
She smiles, placing a hand on the Crab's for reassurance.
"I'll text Aiko about your observations and my interpretation of them. It might not be enough for her to go on, but it should be enough for her to ask Ichiro-san if they meet," she says. "As for you, I suggest trying to keep out of her sight for a while. I'll try to draw her attention, give you and His Highness time to yourselves or to plan. Whichever you prefer."

Hinata accepted the hand gratefully. She usually found physical contact reassuring, perhaps an odd trait for a samurai to have, but there it was. She looked at Hisui and shook her head.
"No, you do not have to do that. I would not want to have her hurt you in my place. Besides, Yoshinobu-kun is talking to her this morning, hopefully that will settle things on my end. But...thank you, Utaku-sensei."
She thought for a moment, then added,
"...may I call you Hisui-sensei?"

"Well, the offer stands. But I imagine His Highness taking direct action would make her cease targeting you," she says, nodding. Of course, that still left the Unicorn and the Badger still in the Otomo's crosshairs. But it was one less concern. "And of course you may. Hisui-sensei it is."
She hands Hinata her phone.
"My number, should you need to contact me."

Hinata nodded, and put Hisui's number into her phone, then handed it back to her.
"I will be sure to if I need anything. It is getting to be about time for classes, though."
Hinata stood up and bowed to the other woman.
"Have a good day, Hisui-sensei. And...let me know if I can help in any way too."

"Good day as well. And take care of yourself."
She nods respectfully, and lets the young Kuni get on with her day.
There was much to be concerned about, it seemed, as she texted Aiko.
