"I am aware, cousin," Aiko says, calmly, "And please, show others the proper courtesy they deserve here at school. I realize that things aren't exactly... smooth between us and the Crane right now, but that isn't an excuse for such impoliteness."
Fortunes, this boy is going to be so much work.

The next words that come out of the Mirumoto student's mouth are almost hostile as something seems to smolder underneath: "Things would be more smooth if yo..."
Noboru stops, recalls that he's still present with someone who's higher station, takes a deep breath, then turns to apologize to Satoru and Ichiro with a bow. "Your form still needs work, but sensei is right. I was impolite and ask you both to forgive me."

Damnit. He kind of hoped Mirumoto-sensei wouldn't get involved. The Daidoji wanted to just leave this whole thing behind him--the failure, the insult. He tensed thinking that based on his response, this guy was either going to be a massive thorn in his heel or just a salty plane of existence that he has to spend two or three classes around. Neither of these he desired in the slightest.
It didn't matter. If he did not accept the apology or he took too long to do so, he'd be the jerk. If he did, he'd still be the jerk. There's no winning here.
Without setting his things down he bowed his head. "This one forgives you. Thank you for your time and guidance, Mirumoto-sensei. If you do not mind I will be taking my leave."

Ichiro is annoyed with the sullen dragon, why does he feel like he needs to include us in whatever crappy day he is having. regardless whether forced or not an apology was given. "I accept your apology Mirumoto-san perhaps sometime you could show me what you believe is proper form." with that he collects his things and turns to leave the dojo.

Kaizen enters the dojo and bows to those there. He puts his stuff down and begins to warm up off to the side. The big guy remains quiet. Who are these guys? sigh... i guess its the new kids on the block... here we go.... He lets out a soft sigh and begins to practice his Kata.

Aiko bows to the Daidoji as he leaves, "Carry the Fortunes, Daidoji-san."
She then focuses on Noboru again, noticing that he about snapped at her and, given the fact that a fair amount of the blame for the current bad blood between Dragon and Crane could be laid at her feet, she wouldn't blame him for his anger. But that doesn't change the fact she wanted to understand it better.
"Cousin. Do you have time for a private chat?"

Before he can respond to Aiko, the Mirumoto offers... a little more politely but still somewhat awkwardly... to both Ichiro and Satoru, "Perfect is the enemy of good. Don't focus on being perfect, focus on doing it well. As for proper form?" Noboru shrugs, "Following in my footsteps will not lead you to what I have found."
Then he looks over to the former Thunder and just sighs. "I don't have a choice, do I."

"There is always a choice, cousin. However, some choices do tend to be recommended against by circumstance. This would be one of those circumstances, as a sensei is trying to figure something out so as to avoid future problems," Aiko replies, trying to make it clear that Noboru isn't in trouble, instead this is family looking for family.
