Kobushi does not think this is a good idea. However, if his friends are going, then he felt the need to be there as well. He pets the cat, which also does not like the idea. And then he has a thought.
"Should we leave Tiger here, in case its dangerous?"

She paused, thinking about it.
"...then again, I suppose we all may be dead in a day or two anyway, won't we? Let's keep going."

Kobushi nods, and then attempts to hand the cat over to Yoshi. "If it is dangerous, I'd prefer to keep my hands free."

"We can't just leave the cat behind, or it may get lost out here," Yoshi agrees with Koshiro's general sentiment. He takes the cat from Koshiro but also considers the situation a bit more. "I'd worry about having to fight while holding Tiger too, though. Koshiro, can you cast spells well enough with just one hand? I'd think that would be safer for everyone than either Kobushi or me trying to hold a blade and a cat." He then offers the cat over to the ronin to take.

"Uhhh, sure, I could try I suppose." Koshiro shrugs and takes the cat. "Uh, hello Tiger-neko. I am Koshiro. We are friends now. Do not eat us, okay?" He pets the kitty as best he could as he follows the group.

The purple fog only seems to get thicker as the group heads deeper in, and that really makes Kobushi worry. He could fight, but he needed to see what he was fighting to do that. As they move, approaching what used to be abandoned shrine, there is the sound of something tapping against the trees. He can't tell which direction, but it is all too familiar a sign.
"Oh, not again."

And there's the sound again. It sounds closer now.

Yoshi's left hand goes to his saya, and his sword clicks into a ready position, his other hand hovering over the handle.
"Should we turn back?" Yoshi asks, not cowardly but always practical.
