The lack of focus in Seijuro's stance was fairly apparent. Maybe it was because he was facing a Mirumoto who used only one sword. He goes to parry her strike, but she easily slides through his guard and scores on an opening. (20 - orokos.com/roll/589650)

Sakura acknowledges her point, bowing slightly and then swirling around, her movements more flowing and inspired by the motions of kaze-do, instead of traditional swordplay. She launches a fresh offensive once the two have reset. ((Kenjutsu/Agi: 29))

The scored point was enough to get the Matsu trained Akodo's undivided attention. Repetition of action was foolish - it was one of Akodo's most basic of lessons. He'd have to fight her as if he would fight anyone else who wielded one sword. He breathed, watched her, waited patently. There! With a high overhead strike, he dashes forward into Sakura's guard and brings the sword down, the same way he had against Ryouko. Rather than hit her with his full might and dishonor the lesson, he shows some restraint and pulls his strike into a light tap on her shoulder. (55 - orokos.com/roll/589665)

Noboru just shook his head at Kaizen's response then rolled his eyes a bit. It was about that moment that Seijuro managed his overhead strike against Sakura. That's when he offered a rather discourteous statement aimed at three people in particular. Really, one in particular.
"Guess being the child of a Thunder doesn't mean you're going to amount to anything, does it."
With that he sat down and tried to begin meditating.

Ichiro bristled at Noboru's comment "listen man why are you always such an ass? You come in here and disrespect the dojo and everyone in it, you sling snide comments at those around you trying to learn. You're no good at teaching, leave it to the sensei." Ichiro's face was slowly reddening as he spoke, he didn't yell but his voice carried a large amount of anger. "I try to stay out of your way and let you do your thing, but I'm sick of listening to you put others down."

"Its people like you that boils my blood Mirumoto-san. You dont know what its like living with the preassure of being the offspring of a Thunder!" he punched the ground in anger. "You don't understand how difficult it is stepping out of the shadow of a Great Man!" He stood up and bowed to the sensei. "Sensei, i am afraid i have to leave before someone else gets hurt. Punish me later if you must. I cant stand to look at his face without wanting to bash it in." He said from a full bow, not getting up untill excused.

One person taking issue and interrupting the class was bad enough. A second one just made Kobushi's head hurt. He sighs, but keeps away from what he suspected was about to become a frontline. He wasn't involved, and he didn't want to be involved.
Quietly, mostly to himself, he says "That Dragon's not the only one with a discipline problem."

Again, Sakura acknowledges the touch, smiling faintly. This was going to be fun, as it seems the two of them were going to be having a wonderful spar, as most of the other ones had been rather quickly decided. She returns to her centered stance, before lashing out again towards the Lion. ((Kenjutsu/Agility: 21. First time this thread she's not had any explosions))

Aiko turns her attention to Kaizen, "Mitsu-san, sit down. You are not the only student in this school who has to deal with the pressure of being the child of a Thunder, nor are you the only student who has to deal with the frustrations of being in a classroom with a student who you would rather inflict violence on. Life is full of moments where you are going to have to sit, peacefully, in the same room as someone you will want to simply haul up and strike in the face. A true samurai would sit there and live with it, as Duty and Courtesy demands. If you leave, I will not allow you back in the dojo for any further kenjutsu classes, as I do not teach those who forget virtues that we all strive to live by."

Seijuro offers a nod of acknowledgement and a smile as well, stepping back to recenter. This girl was pretty talented. Fortunately, his focus was on his opponent and not the others' conversation. He waits for Sakura to go on the offensive, then quickly unleashes a horizontal strike on her ribs as she steps into his range, which he of course pulls back at the last moment to another light tap.
