Sensing her frustration Ichiro's tone carries more concern "is everything all right mirumoto-san?" His eyebrows furrowed together in an expression of worry.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just disappointed in myself, that's all. Just like my match with Noboru-san yesterday."
She offers the lion a small smile. "Just means I need to train harder, right?"

Ichiro's expression melted from worry to understanding a warm smile forming on his face "don't be so hard on yourself, you're good at this, everyone has off days." He puts a reassuring hand on her shoulder "like you said just a reason to train yourself. Every defeat a lesson that you can never rest and must always strive forward." He gives her shoulder a light squeeze and let go.

Why were they all being so... so friendly? I mean, this is what people did when you talked to them right? You learned more about each other, started confiding in each other, relying on each other.... caring about each other.
There was a lump in Ryuha's throat for a moment, and she tried to speak but couldn't. It was almost as if she had seen a ghost for a moment. "Ah.... ah.... yeah, you're right Akodo-san," she finally manages to say.

Ichiro smiled wide at the girl and clapped her shoulder hard but good naturedly like a child that doesn't know his own strength. "Of course you'll do amazing things! Hey may I get your number to contact you for further sparring?"

Kobushi again notes the discomfort. He isn't quite sure what it means, but his observations tell him it's tied to the Akodo somehow. Except for that one lapse earlier, which he dismissed as odd coincidence. Glare from something, perhaps. The Crane decides to take a moment in the future, inquire about the matter.
The problem was in trying to be subtle.
Through all this, he decides to keep a bit of distance to think. And to avoid giving the impression of being too close.

She goes to her bag and grabs her phone, opening it up to the contacts page. "What's your number? I'll send you a message now."

Ichiro gives Ryuha his number "Totally I'd love more chances to test my skills against you again. I have us at 1-1 now by the end of the semester I plan on being ahead of that tally." He gives her a grin.
"also hey if you're ever free we should totally hang out sometime, you know just chill grab some food or something."
