Takezou stares at the Doji taking the her measure. He empties his mind waiting for the opportune moment. What feels like an eternity finally ends when he draws his shinai. It strikes out at blinding speed hitting his opponent on the shoulder before she can draw her blade. He bows to Reiha. "Thank you for the match Doji-san."

As she returns to the side there is a little frown. Her concentration had been a little off...

Fuyuko watches the match between Issao and the Suzume. "Kakita-san, Advance. Kakita-san Advance. Both of you face each other." she says with a nod "Shinjo-san Advance. You face the winner of the other match."

Isao, after he defeated Suzume Suzaku without much fanfare, approached his cousin Uetani and smiled broadly. "I look forward to this," he chirped, finally getting the opportunity to challenge her. The Crane bowed and adopted a traditional Kakita stance.

Her stance is traditional as well. Perhaps it is due to her looking for something else, but he takes measure of her far better than she him. His skill at reading her will aid his focus. After the first minute though, without any mistakes from either, it becomes clear that this is a struggle between titans of the art. Either one would make a strike now that Kakita would be proud of.
