She writes down her name before she has time to change her mind.

Noboru glanced toward Kaizen as he hears the Spider's words, remembering what happened in kendo class between the two of them.
"Hope you never regret those words, Mitsu-san," he offered coolly while heading toward the door to the dojo. "And Kakita Uetani-san?"
Noboru turned to her and nodded silently.

Noboru stops to look at Kaizen, then glances over to Fuyuko as if he'd just been challenged and sought permission to accept.

Fuyuko turns to Kaizen. "Mirumoto-san has been asked to refrain from sanctioned sparing. This one does not sanction this. You want to spar? Go to the class."

Noboru took the number and began balling it up. There was a recycling bin next to the door for empty water battles after training... and that's where the number ended up before /exiting the dojo.

Fuyuko nods and walks over to the list before she looks at the group, thinks a moment then nods. "Very well, Captaincy challenge will be as such. Gear up, FULL protective gear and face off. This is first touch. If I see intent to harm you will be eliminated. The pairings are as such. Suzume Suzako against Kakita Isao. Shinjo Takezou against Rodrigo Azreola. Doji Reiha against Mitsu Kaizen. Kakita Uetani against Daidoji Sumgai" she says gesturing to a nameless other hopeful contestant.
(Ok way I am doing this. We do the rolls through message involving staff if needed and then post with full action and all the rolls. Uetani gets a bye for her first due to odd number she she will clobber a nameless NPC. Doing formal dueling rolls with a Shinai. Also roll damage but try to keep low cause she will be disqualifying anyone who gets more then a 5 in damage. I will send the emails to start the party.)
