"We often see so many artists take up brush or pen, crafting words or picture of vivid clarity on the nature of our world. From streaming rays of sunrises in summer to mountain ranges beneath the twinkling night sky. It is all so majestic, but I think if I can work with a part of that beauty with my own hands then perhaps I will be closer than any picture or poem could ever take me." Her voice was soft, her tone humble. To her it was more than simply a talent to possess.
"But thank you, Prince Iweko, your words are kind. In either case, should I see you at the gardening club, or elsewhere, I am sure your presence alone will be enjoyed. I hope however, that you will enjoy whatever it is you take up." Tsuki's eyes came back to Yoshinobu and with it her ever warm smile.

"From what I just heard, I do not foresee that being an issue. You have a way with words that I simply lack," the Prince easily admits, hoping to not come off as flippant. After all, samurai dedicated their lives to their craft - be it the blade or the brush.
"When I feel I can match your dedication, perhaps then I will put my art on display." Yoshinobu pauses in thought for a moment, lost in his mind momentarily until he feels her gaze upon him. "I hope I was not keeping you from some important task, Lady Kakita."

Tsuki blinked at the crown prince and quickly, if gracefully, shook her head at him and his concern of her time. "No, by all means you are not. It was I who approached you. If anyone were to ask such a question right now, it should be me. I was simply familiarizing myself with the halls of the school again and seeing to which rooms my classes for this year have been assigned."
A hand come up to rest upon her chest, delicate fingers of snow white resting with an almost picturesque ease upon her form. "If you have business elsewhere though, please do not let me hold you up for whatever might require more attention."

"No, not at all. Shall we walk together, then? Perhaps I could do with some familiarizing as well."

Tsuki's hand slipped back down to the front of her, held neatly in place on top her other hand. "If you don't mind starting with the second floor then by all means, I would enjoy having your company as we walk the halls. Is there any room or class you were hoping to locate in particular?"

"I believe an Asahina Kangei-sensei is teaching the courtly arts. Perhaps we could start there?" Yoshinobu nods politely, allowing Tsuki to lead the way, deferring to follow a step behind.

Kakita Tsuki nodded and turned towards the stairs to ascend to the second floor of the building. "I know the art rooms tend to be on the higher floors, so it will be easy enough to find them as we make our way around the halls." She said.
The building consisted of enough floors and enough rooms to generally accommodate anything and everything under the Jade sun. In fact, it was arguable that the school, if it deemed to do so, would be able to provide a room for every subject a samurai could conceivably need to use. Including those of less reputable uses. However, RHS would never have such a need and thus never needed to worry for space.
As they made their way through the first hall, the Kakita glanced back towards Yoshinobu. "So what subjects are you studying this year, Prince Iweko?"

"I'll be seeking to broaden my horizons as much as possible," Yoshinobu admits rather freely. "As well as the more courtly classes, I hope to take courses on theology, the arts, philosophy, military sciences."
A smile spreads upon his lips once more. "And martial classes as well, of course. I think my bowmanship could use some touching up on."

"That is a very diverse and balanced curriculum, Prince Iweko. Though you will most certainly find yourself traveling these halls as you move from class to class. I hope you will not mind the possible jog." Tsuki said with an innocent laugh.
"I will be attending the usual courtly classes when possible and art will be there as well. I do desire to take on courses covering the realms beyond ours and their denizens, which would match nicely with my schooling as a Shugenja. Although," Tsuki's voice faded slightly as she paused to think, "A martial skill would likely do me well to learn."

"It is not the jog I worry about, my Lady, but I am sure that I will manage well enough. I would not want to set a bad example through tardiness."
The Crown Prince listens intently as they walk through the halls towards the courtier classroom, raising his right hand to his chin as he tries to envision a martial skill for Tsuki to take part in. "As I understand it, your mother was quite fond of hand to hand combat?"
