Tsuki looked to Yoshinobu and nodded to his words, but his statement left her with inclination that the prince was not stapled so closely to the ruling given. "You know, there is a saying among the Crane lands. It's simple, but I think everyone should hear them. It goes Flower, Bird, Wind, Moon."
They stepped around the corner into another long hall. "Have you ever heard of it?"

The Prince followed the young woman around the corner.
"I have not, Lady Kakita. Though you have my interest rather piqued. Please."

"It means one should experience the beauties of nature, and in doing so learn about oneself," Tsuki glanced over to Yoshinobu, "Bring too little attention to yourself, and no one will know what to think of you. I know the choice is not always yours, but I think you will have to sometimes take fate into your own hands and experience what you desire."
She smiled a bit at the thought, as if her words extended to more than just the matter of gossip from tabloids. "So the real question is, Iweko Yoshinobu-sama, how will you experience the beauties of nature?"

"That... is a good question. One I am unsure if I have completely figured out. Bushido demands I remain true to my duties, but I would be lying if i did not see my heart was elsewhere. At least until my true duty calls."

"They don't always have to be separate, Bushido and ones heart," Tsuki said in soft, comforting tones, "And I think it will do well for your ability in the game of letters. This will be your last year at the high school, correct? Then I implore you, both as a servant to the Empire you will one day lead and as a friend, that you learn how you will experience the beauties of nature. Be bold if you must, for that is whom the fortunes favor."

Yoshinobu gives Tsuki a bright and earnest smile, followed by a small bow of gratitude.
"Your Honored mother's wisdom did indeed pass down to her descendants. Your words have struck a chord, Lady Kakita. Therefore I will take them to heart."

"Good," Tsuki says with a bow of her own, "When the school year is done, Prince Iweko, I would like to hear what you did."
She smiled towards the man as sincere and honestly as she had done before, or any other day of her life. Her interest was honest, and more than that, it was desired.

"You and I both will be both happy and relieved, Lady Kakita, when the year's journey is at its end. Let us find out where the road takes us, neh? I am sure the Fortunes have much in store for us - be our own fortune either good or unlucky," the Prince beamed at the small pun, then continued down the hall.
