"Saito is a bit more than a year younger than I, and Nariko about the same age apart as Saito and myself. Were it not for how the school year falls and starts, Saito would be attending his first year in in this prestigious school of ours. He is not, but that's fine. I am sure my sister enjoys having one of her brothers close by." She answered with a smile.
"If only such were the case, your wish would be granted. I think though it might be good for that anticipation to to build, so that when you can see your sister and her undoubted passing of her gempukku, it will be all that much sweeter."

"As we said, I must impress her with my improvement in the game of letters. If I improve well enough, perhaps you would wish to accompany me as thanks for you assistance Lady Kakita. A chance to meet the Princess, and see the lands of the Crane once more?"

"Please, Prince Iweko, you wouldn't have to do that for me simply helping in such a small thing," Tsuki replied with her ever warm smile, "But I would be insincere if I said I wouldn't enjoy seeing the Princess or the Crane lands once more."

"But it is only a small thing I am offering. Please, take some time and think it over. I'd be happy to have the Iweko family host you."

"It is a kind offer, but I know your family is busy with so much already, are you sure I wouldn't be imposing upon you and yours?"

"There would be no imposition at all, Lady Kakita. If a lone gempukku ceremony would set back the Iweko, we would never be able to conduct court come winter," Yoshinobu jested with a wide smile.

Her soft laughter echoed quietly through out the otherwise empty halls. "Well you make a fairly convincing point, Prince Iweko. Then I shall take you up on your generous offer and accompany you to the Crane lands come the Princess's gempukku."
Tsuki turned and spoke lightly, but matter-of-factly. "Barring that we make sure our Princes skill within the game of letters would impress the Princess, of course."

"Of course, Lady Kakita. It seems we have come to an agreement, then," the Prince replies with a chuckle, adding his laughter to hers.
"We should be coming up on that classroom any minute now."

Indeed the the Prince's words were very much on the mark. As the two rounded the corner they would be met with a hall of doors, each linked to history in some form or another. For her part, Tsuki simply walked by each one making a mental note on their location but otherwise opting to not enter any of the rooms. She had no desire to see what was effectively a class room full of desks and some windows, and the she had an inkling that Yoshinobu was probably not interested what amounted to copy and pasting of room set ups.
As they walked, she opted to continue conversation, but move the subject elsewhere. "So, where will our honored Prince be staying this year? At the dorms, or his own place within the city?" She asked in curious and friendly tone.

"It would be nice to live away from the palace, though I understand all too well why that cannot be the case. My Honored Father and Mother insist that the Imperial residences remain my home, perhaps so they can keep a close eye on my activities."
Yoshinobu states that last bit matter of factly. "Bring too much attention to myself in gossip magazines, and it will bring shame on the Iweko line."
