The footfalls of soft shoes echoed about the unusually empty halls of RHS. With classes starting on the morrow and wishing to make sure all was in order before returning to the remaining few hours of her freedom from said school, Tsuki had opted to see the halls without the normal army of other students rushing about. It certainly made it easier to see which rooms she would need to attend for her classes for one, but it also let her take the time to break off from the beaten path and wander to others areas that normally one might be given a stern word or warning to avoid. She knew that there might not be a reason to know where such a room is for herself, but someone else might or she would suddenly have a reason for use of such information. In either case it didn't hurt to know, a sentiment she reminded herself of.
Ending at the hall she turned the corner to where the stairs would lead.

Tsuki would find, alone interestingly enough, the Crown Prince Iweko Yoshinobu at the foot of the staircase. He was staring at a poster pinned to a board, some display about the upcoming Club Day festivities that would be beginning next week and how to apply for a booth. It was a known fact that future Emperor attended the school, usually swarmed by those who wished to curry favor in the future no doubt. At this moment, with school not yet having begun, he was alone.
Dressed in more casual clothing than he would normally be seen in publicly, the Prince was seemingly lost in thought with a small smile on his face. Something about the poster seemed entertaining or at least interesting to him.

The young woman stopped in her tracks and slowly raised an eye at the young man whom stood oblivious to her unconcealed presence. It took her but a few moments to recognize the man, but her memory of the man was clear as day. Slowly a hint of a grin crept up her face and she carefully approached behind the crown prince to catch glimpse of what had him so humorously enraptured. Only when she had finally caught a good idea of what made him smile did she finally call out to the man in her charming, soft voice.
"Do you see anything that catches your eye, Iweko Yoshinobu-sama?"

Yoshinobu blinks a few times, his head turning to the side to face Tsuki. He retains the smile, however, recognition shining in his dark eyes.
"Ah, Kakita Tsuki-san. What a pleasant surprise," he replies cordially, bowing to the young woman before him. "I was just looking at this poster for the upcoming Club Day. It has been a favorite event of mine every year; the campus always becomes ever so lively."
He pauses for a moment. "It is good to see you again, my Lady. How fares your Father, Meta-sensei?"

Tsuki was quick and smooth to change her small grin to a welcoming smile, bowing to the crown prince as she did to him and then some. Her eyes trailed to the poster for a moment and then quickly back to the young man whom addressed her so properly. "It is wonderful to see as well, my Prince. Father is doing fine and remains busy, though he retains his usual directness in all matters. I hope that your lessons with him have proven beneficial to you thus far."
She had only heard of the sessions themselves and not the details, and knowing who her father was had hoped that nothing ill came of them. A sentiment that seemed to reflect in the tone of her voice and choice of words. Still, she opted to not linger over such a thing and returned to the subject of club day. "I must agree. When the whole body is present and keen on not only presenting themselves but doing so in unity, it is a fine example oh what Rokugan truly is. That and the refreshments are never ending in choice." She giggled lightly at her own silly jest.

"Beneficial indeed, Lady Kakita. I remember your Father's lessons as if it were only yesterday."
Of course, the Crown Prince made no mention of the grueling training he had undergone the few times the Crane Thunder had tutored him; something Tsuki had picked up on judging by her tone. A Kenshinzen's process was thorough enough, even without one possessing such a disposition as Meta's.
"Hai, it makes me proud to see us all working together so keenly. Everyone brings honor to the school, to their Clans and Families, and the Empire." He allows himself a small chuckle in response to her giggling. "I can taste the funnel cake now."

"Oh?" Tsuki feigned a look of silly surprise, "Does our Prince Iweko have a taste for sweeter things?"
Another small jest from the pale woman. "And when not snacking on funnel cake, what clubs will you be applying for, if any? I am certain that once club day begins you will likely be swarmed with requests to participate in, well, everything." Though it was a normal thing to ask, her tone was earnestly sincere about the inquiry.
She smiled that warn and kind smile again as she looked to the young prince.

"You could say I have a sweet tooth, yes. Kazuko-hime teases me about it at every opportunity," the young Prince emphasizes with a broad smile. As the conversation turns to clubs though?
"The Honored Son of Heaven would wish for me to participate in more martial extracurricular activities, truth be told. However, I feel that would spoil the competition. I do no not know how many students would be willing to strike me with a bokken. Perhaps I overestimate myself, and many are willing to," he replies, tone jovial and self deprecating. "Still, I would not wish to make things awkward for anyone. I was thinking about the Art Club. I do fancy myself a painter, somewhat. Perhaps the Newspaper Club, in honor of my Grandmother?"
"But what of you, Lady Kakita?"

Tsuki let out another small laugh, her voice light and crystalline behind the hand that covered her mouth. "Yes, that would likely be the case if not for your fellow students and subjects, but for the sensei at this academy as well. Still, I don't think it would be bad to at least be a part of the activities. Even if you decide not to join the club."
She smiled again and glanced a look out the window in the courtyard, the sakura tree of the school in full bloom. "I think both those would be excellent areas, but if you wish to her another, then I think the gardening club would be another excellent choice. I will be joining, in hopes to better my love of ikebana. It's no painting, but I am certain you would easily craft something just as lovely."

"There is definitely some merit to pomp and ceremony, I suppose. Hopefully my presence alone will suffice."
Yoshinobu watches silently as the young girl glances out the window, his eyes following her gaze to the Sakura. "Gardening you say? I do see how that could connect to so many other arts... Poetry, Letters, even Painting. I don't see how it could hurt. You make a compelling argument, Lady Kakita."
